AGRONOMY
Our sister company Tynegrain Agriculture operates an agronomy service, run by lead agronomist, Nick Sanderson.
A key feature of our service is its independence of mainstream agrochemical companies.

Nick has a strong background in crop protection and management. He also has experience in managing trials for 60+ varieties of wheat, barley and oilseed rape. Product trials included various comparisons against fungicides and herbicides.
The team has taken on more acres and we now walk over 18000 acres of farmland. We visit every farm on a weekly basis during the growing season, to check crop's performance.
As an independent, Nick offers advice within a farmer's best interest by achieving substantial savings on agrochemicals due to having no vested interest in particular agrochemical brands.
Nick is committed to achieving the highest yields for his clients' crops at the lowest costs. This is achieved by crop walking weekly during the growing season, followed up with computerized field reports outlining his recommendations. Agrochemicals can then be delivered directly from the supply trade at discount prices.

We have developed crop demonstration sites across the North of England and Scotland.
These which play an important role in demonstrating the benefits
of different crop varieties, seed rates, seed treatments and agronomy.
This allows us to showcase 'agronomy' in action.
